I cannot recommend VMHA highly enough—I wouldn’t want to work with anyone else. Their customer service is truly exceptional. From the very first conversation, I felt genuinely heard and understood, and it gave me the confidence and safety to openly discuss my mental health struggles.Filing a VA disability claim is incredibly stressful, but the team at VMHA made the Independent Medical Opinion process feel supportive and manageable. The session itself was smooth, professional, and surprisingly efficient. VMHA is a truly incredible company that actually cares about veterans. The process is smooth. The Doc cares, listens and if necessary, produces a thorough review and medical opinion. The medical opinion is based on facts and medical rationale and carries some serious weight. In my case, I encountered a very negative C&P experience due to my anxiety. The IMO prevailed against the exam and a favorable grant was awarded. Choose Dwayne and VMHA over anyone else.

Things I like and dislike about VMHA:Like:Quick and easy processDoesn’t charge a ridiculous fee or require a percentage of disability back pay.Offer’s a reasonable payment plan if you are in need of one.Didn’t give me the feeling like I had just been robbed without even accomplishing the task I was trying to achieve in pursuing VA disability.The Doctor assigned to my case, Alana Moses, did a tremendous job listening and writing up my diagnosis in a timely manner, provided relative reasoning to support my diagnosis, and provided a nexus to further support my diagnosis.VMHA provided a great number of resources for continued treatment so that I could get the reliable help that I need.Dislikes:I’m upset I didn’t find them sooner.Salute to Dwayne Edwards and the VMHA team for the help and services they provided me!

VMHA provided a very thorough and professional mental health evaluation experience. They took the time to actually listen to my symptoms and concerns. The evaluation was detailed, compassionate, and well organized. Their report helped support my VA disability increase, and I truly felt heard throughout the process. I did get an increase on my PTSD rating but it was not the amount of increase I deserve. Dwayne reached out to me and is guiding me through the process of my appeal. Glad they care so much and I really appreciate them.
